With isolation being enforced I’ve  found myself pondering on my realtionship with downtime. There is something to be said about slowing down and taking rest.

In alignment with this sense of stillness and reflection I have created a new body of work titled ‘Devotional pictures’.

‘Devotional pictures’ is a series of 11 oil paintings on 400gsm Fabriano pittura fine art paper. With an element of the domestic space woven into the images this series speaks of the influx of the quiet, slow and meditative times in our lives.
