Seeking a way is an exploration of an in-betweenness. A state of being that feels vulnerable, unsteady and yet determined. Each work shows a force of varying strengths, from a gentle pleading to a surging chorus. Created in the magical transition that is pregnancy, the works take on the presence of an undulating unknown. Through a sense of movement and sway, each mark soaked into the fibres of silk serve as reminders of the beauty in the turbulent moments of growth and change. Seeking a way is an honouring of the moment your body is no longer just your body, but rather a home for someone other than yourself.
